Deprenyl

First synthesized in 1961, Deprenyl is used for decades in the treatment of Parkinson's, Alzheimer's disease, other dementias and depressive disorders with very few side effects. Amongst others, Deprenyl works by protecting neurons against oxidative stress and neurotoxins and offers significant support for the maintenance of neurological functions.

Its inventor Dr. Knoll has researched its properties for more than half a century, discovering that a low dose treatment of 1 - 1.5 mg/day (vs. a clinical level of > 10 mg/day) in healthy individuals offers improvements in cognitive performance, enhancement of sexual function and can extend maximum life span.
